Autism and Movement Disorders – 3 Hours

• Based on own Masters research dissertation and Donellan and Leary’s work (1993).
• Target group –Anyone interested in understanding the movement differences experienced by people with autism.

Laban Movement Analysis (basic Intro.) – 3 Hours

• This workshop is experiential.
• Target group –Therapists working with anyone with a disability to gain insight into a valuable tool for identifying and remediating movement differences. Parents may be interested too.

Introduction to Dance Therapy – 3-6 Hours

• This workshop is experiential.
• Target group – This workshop would provide an overview of Dance Therapy which would be of interest to anyone but particularly to movement specialists who are interested in the therapeutic applications of Dance.

Using Creative Dance and Drama to Enhance Communication Skill Development -3 hours

• Target group – This workshop would be of interest to therapists  teachers and carers who would like to explore more creative ways to teach communication skills.

Basic Facilitated Communication Training Workshop – 6 hours

• Target group -people who are wanting to begin the process of learning to be Facilitators for identified FCT users.
